Some practise sketches (X-post)

Sorry... I always link back to my DA ^^U... Just don't want to move the pics out.

I did a practise sketch on the two male leads in the CLAMP manga XXXHolic. I didn't quite like how it turn out. ... Am very upset with my inability to draw guys T_T also... See here.

Also tried drawing my character in Trickster. I like how it turn out =) See here.

About the XXX Holic one: The lines are so clean and clear! The only mistake that strikes my eye is that Watanuki's right lower arm got a bit too long. Good job nevertheless :D !

And the 2nd one: Kawaiiiii ^.^ She's so lovely!

i thought doumeki's face turned out best of the two, though. and it's obvious that they're guys (which is more than some manga can boast), so if you're not comfortable with it yet, perhaps a little more practice will make it perfect.
as far as proportions and whatnot go, there's just what malli mentioned and watanuki's left forearm, which seems to have gone a bit noodley and bending up. straightening the bottom line of the arm would fix it in a sec, though. that's it.

and your character is very cute. :D

Hmm... maybe I just need to draw guys more... actually I find CLAMP's new style (as in XXXHolic and Tsubasa) quite hard to mimic or do a fanart on... I should try drawing guys in some other style. ^^U
